#NewYearVibe #2k18 |
Hello 2018❤
This
is my first post in this new year. Since I rarely write and post in this blog
because of my very uncertain activities and some other things.
I love that this year starts with
holiday season. Fresh starts, new goals, new experiences. Diving into a new
year is like taking that first deep breath air after a long long car ride. Call
me an idealist, a sap, a dreamer but i think it's the best. Like you begin to
read new chapter, new page of your book. Today is first day (1/365 days).
I think the New Year's Eve
celebrations are not just fireworks, barbecues, but also kindle new spirits,
new plans, new activities and new zones. So life is more enjoyable and not
boring. Going through all the prep
work in the beginning, I was surprised by how true everything felt--normally
this sort of exercise leaves me feeling like I made a bunch of to-do-list just
to have something to write down.
A lot of my to-do-list a.k.a my resolution in this brand new year, but I also did not beg for it. I just want to reach my resolution with all of my abilities while letting it flow according God’s plan. Because i believe that “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.
But this was different, and I
really enjoyed the process. The whole idea is to get you to "cultivate what
matters," rather than setting arbitrary goals that aren't
connected to what you really want out of life. There's a page that asks you to
write down what matters most to you, and I wrote three things:
- More closer to God, trying to build a better relationship or connection with Him day by day.
- Building a home and nurtures strong bonds, creates memories, provides my family with a strong foundation and a safe haven. Loving and serving my family well.
- Not stuck in comfort zone. Explore, explore, explore the life. Even tho just a little bit progress but I still want to see growth.
We wish you all
a happy and healthy 2018. While we all love to say that phrase, the truth is
that there will be highs and lows for each of us. I hope that you and I can
weather those peaks and valleys with grace.
Most of all,
thank you to each of you for supporting and reading my blog. As of January 1,
it's been a while that I've not been posting in this space. When I timidly
wrote my first post, I had no idea what I was launching myself into. It's been
far better than I ever expected, due to the many people who I've
"met" through this blog. I am grateful to all of you!
Regards,
